The Hub Project // Digital Strategy
I joined the Hub Project in early 2017, a little more than a year after it was founded. We convene broad, national coalitions—with groups like MoveOn, Indivisible, and NextGen America—to ensure our government is working for everyone.
Since starting at the Hub, we’ve grown from a small startup to somewhat of an institution in this town, making significant impact on a number of issues, from helping defend health care, to fighting against the GOP's tax cuts for the rich, to helping win back the House, to pushing for DC Statehood, to countering far-right extremism.
Hillary for America // Digital Organizing
In 2016, I led Hillary Clinton’s youth digital outreach program in Ohio. Through crafting compelling content and recruiting hundreds of thousands of Ohioans to join our email, SMS, and social media lists, we built the most comprehensive digital organizing program in the country.
Wired covered our early voting launch, citing that, “It’s hard to ignore the surprising enthusiasm gap between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the hashtag #OHVotesEarly, which started trending on Twitter this morning as early voting kicked off in Ohio.”

The Obama White House // Advance & Public Engagement
From late 2014 through early 2015, I advanced President Obama and Vice President Biden’s travel to two national events. The first, the Tribal Nations Conference, convened all federally recognized tribes. Mic, among many national outlets, covered the event: “President Barack Obama unveiled a new initiative Wednesday aimed at expanding social and economic opportunities for Native American youth, many of whom live in poverty.” The second event, a manufacturing tour in Tennessee, was covered by USA Today.
Prior to serving on the advance team, I was an intern in President Obama’s Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. Among various projects, I helped coordinate public engagement surrounding the President’s historic visit to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Nation in Cannonball, North Dakota.
California Public Higher Education Caucus // Co-Founder
Recognizing the University of California’s lack of representation in Washington, I co-founded the California Public Higher Education Caucus (CPHEC) in 2014. As a UC Berkeley graduate, the accessibility and affordability of higher education is deeply important to me. This bipartisan caucus is dedicated to promoting the public character and integrity of the California public university systems.
The caucus was initially co-chaired by U.S. Representatives Ami Bera (D-CA) and Jeff Denham (R-CA). Over 30 Members of Congress hold membership within the caucus.
